Prince Poppycock and Prince Scarycock

This is something I illustrated for the Monster Prince Poppycock contest. For this contest, we had to draw Prince Poppycock as a monster, and even though that sounded like something I can do, I actually had a hard time imagining the Prince as a monster. He's just too happy and funny to fit the typical monstrous behavior, and whenever I tried to imagine him as a monster, I thought he just looked goofy with all that make-up and hair style then scary. But then I thought since the Prince is so good at making me laugh, I thought it would be funny if he mistaken a glass of magic potion for champagne and turns into a monster like Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde. And somehow I was able to make the Prince look good and scary after he drank that...champagne! (It's kind of fun to mix some humor and horror together, isn't it?)
